Emerging, expanding, enfolding, entrapping,

Tendrils of memory!

Bo’sun throws line aloft,

It snakes down, coils, twists, turns.

Become gates opening to new views.

Open gates of understanding!!

Barred owls call,

Begins sunrise chorus, chickadees ~ titmouse,

Pileated percussion.
