Quiet time…

At end of the hunt

Owls calling meditation

Cooling cup of tea.

Morning mountain sun

Arising to a new day

Winter slips away

Piercing halo peel,
releasing sun’s essence.
On winter solstice.

Venus morning star,

and my thoughts turn to you.

Beauty shining bright.

One leaf bud breaking,

new horizons unfolding.

Springs emerging day.

Barred owls call,

Begins sunrise chorus, chickadees ~ titmouse,

Pileated percussion.

Black against the rising sun,

waiting, in perfect silhouette,

Great Blue Heron.
