Marsh grasses marching.
When February winds blow in,
Gulls face seaward.
Marsh grasses marching.
When February winds blow in,
Gulls face seaward.
Morning mountain sun
Arising to a new day
Winter slips away
In winter slumber…
Dreams, torn asunder, till all
my egos exposed!
Frigid, midnight blue,
Relentless seas roll over…
Edmund Fitzgerald.

Siren of the sea,
Bewitching mistress
Ever she calls to me,
Slipping in, between,
the edge of earth and sky’s evening
setting sunlight beams.
Spring has sprung a leak!
Winter precipitation,
Thermostat needs a tweak.
Bands of blue and purple,
Signs of winter’s brutal weather,
Have bruised the sky.
