Things I Know Nothing About!

Which are far and beyond what little I know about anything. So if I write or post something that falls in that category, TIKNA, then I want to apologize to anyone who is hurt or offended by the post.

For instance, On Trust..., a poem about self inflicted cutting. It is something that I have not experienced, to the best of my knowledge I don’t personally know anyone who practices it, and what little I know is from articles I’ve read.

Or, Ahem…, politics and politicians but I do know this, what we’re seeing in the 2016 presidential race is anything but presidential. Even the candidates who might bring something substantial to the talk, stand in debate and taunt and ridicule one another. There is much bluster about “what I’ll do…” but little said, realistically, about how it will be done. There’s much to fear in the world today but it shouldn’t be fear that what we see on the political stage will be our next president. And if you’re curious my political leanings reflect Winston Churchill’s (unsubstantiated) statement that, ‘If you’re not a liberal when you’re 25, you have no heart.  If you’re not a conservative by the time you’re 35, you have no brain.’ and if you’re not dismayed by 45 you have no soul.
